Work Procedures

Explore what we can do you for! From minor parking lot door dings to animal collisions, we’ve got you covered. Our friendly staff will keep you involved with your repair every step of the way. The Coach Works technicians are certified and highly trained for every repair.

Never been in an accident? Let’s break it down.

  1. Estimate is Prepared – After you start your claim with your insurance, we will document by taking photos of all damage areas concerning your vehicle and then go over the details with you such as items needing attention, estimated time of completion, parts required and overall cost. Estimates may need be altered and a Supplement Report may need to be written and approved after we start the repair process on your vehicle, if additional damage is discovered.
  2. Work Preparations - During this stage, negotiations with insurance company takes place, diagnostic scan (pre-scan) is preformed, and required parts are now ordered. Now, let’s get you scheduled! At this time, you may drop off your vehicle or you can arrange for us to pick it up.
  3. Body Work Performed - During this stage, we provide our professional auto body services to repair any damaged areas that have been agreed upon in the estimate. Auto body services can include such things as dent removal, structural frame & body damage repairs, scratch removal, sanding of parts, body filling, fiber glassing, trim work and all other related auto body repair services. This stage includes installation of any new parts that may have been ordered.
  4. Final Coat Application & Cleaning - During this stage, we perform various tasks in the refinishing processes such as applying primer, prepping for paint, and refinishing (painting) the vehicle. The vehicle is sprayed in a heated down draft paint booth to cure or bake as we like to call it.
  5. Detail Work - This stage consists of reassembly, detailing and final inspections. Work tasks can include such things as apply any decals, pin stripping, moldings or other detail pieces that need to be applied to your vehicle. Reassembly of parts such as side mirrors, windows in doors, lights etc. This is one of the most important steps.
  6. Notify You the Customer - Once we have completed your vehicle, we will visually inspect the whole vehicle, final diagnostic scan (post-scan) is performed, and finally test drive your vehicle to make sure everything is working properly. You will then be notified that your vehicle is ready for pick up!
